Ulaan Khol

Ulaan Khol is way better referred to as guitarist Steven R. Smith, the primary identity inside a string of musical alter egos which range from psychedelic rock and roll (Crown of Marches) to Eastern European-influenced noises (Hana Strana) to experimental organizations Thuja and Mirza. As Ulaan Khol, Smith started liberating a three-part group of untitled, free-form experimental rock and roll in 2008, dealing with a bleaker and much more ethereal audio than his earlier efforts, and complementing it with weighty feedback.
