Jam music group Tumbleweed Junction was formed in northwestern Pa by Tag Benson (guitar, vocals, mandolin, harmonica), Peter Haver (guitar, vocals), Justin Meyers (bass), and Dave Stephen (drum, percission). They proved helpful the local frat and club circuit before relocating to Atlanta, GA in 1995, where their particular mix of rock and roll, blues and jazz (with only a tinge of acoustic bluegrass) gained them a popularity being a live action. Their self-produced debut record, Out of Ford Town, was released independently Tumbleweed label in 1998.
