Toure Toure

Toure Toure can be an Afro-pop music group from Senegal, headed by cousins Omar Toure in percussion and vocals and Daby Toure in guitar, who subsequently are linked to the market leaders of Toure Kunda, the Senegalese music group that helped in the origins of the existing globe music craze. Rounding out the roster are Michel Alibo on bass, Celia Rogiani on keyboards, and Thierry Vaton on drums. Toure Toure tries to combine the essential sounds of their house of Casamance using the slicker types of Parisian Afro-pop studio room editing. They released their initial record, Ladde, on Tinder and toured to get it.
