Tom Pickering

b. Thomas Mansergh Pickering, 8 August 1921, Burra, South Australia, Australia. After understanding how to play several reed instruments, specifically the clarinet, Pickering performed traditional jazz in a variety of elements of Australia through the past due 30s and 40s. He continuing working throughout being successful decades, carrying on his choice for older designs but also playing effective tenor saxophone in mainstream configurations. His playing and documenting career continuing apace in to the 80s, and his contribution towards the musical lifestyle of his nation has been compensated with several honours.
