Litany

The Australian alternative rock outfit Litany was formed in Melbourne in 1993. Led by drummer Stephanie Bourke — the creator of Melbourne’s Rock and roll ‘N Roll SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, a loosely arranged collective of mentors and pupils numbering more than 200 aspiring music artists — the group also included vocalist/bassist Frances Evans and guitarist Melanie Schmidt. Upon launching their 1998 debut Peculiar Globe, Litany became a quartet by adding second guitarist Suzannah Pearce.
