The Soviettes

The Soviettes formed amid Minneapolis winter in 2000. Without need for last titles, Annie (acoustic guitar/vocals), Sturgeon (acoustic guitar/vocals), Suzy (bass), and Danny (drums) tore into saving, and by 2003 experienced released their self-titled debut via Adeline. It had been fuzzy, punky, striped, and ballsy, and produced the feeling in the Twin Towns and beyond. The ingeniously entitled II adopted in 2004, and presented even more bratty one- and two-minute tunes with titles like “#1 Is usually NUMBER 2” and “Move the Torch.” By this aspect the Soviettes experienced spread their like all over city, not forgetting the plains says and points western. Fat Wreck observed and authorized the quartet in 2004. The Soviettes’ III LP was released on June 28, 2005.
