A two-man, two-woman vocal group having a penchant for saving soap-opera ballads coping with adultery, the Spirit Kids were signed to Stax Information in the past due ’60s and 1st clicked on the spirit charts using the multi-part solitary “The Sweeter HE’S.” Their biggest strike came in past due 1974 with “I’M GOING TO BE the Other Female,” which dented the pop Best 40.
