The Rotations

The Rotations were an obscure Cleveland, OH, group who debuted on Debrossard Information using the infectious but poorly promoted “I CANNOT Come across Her” in 1970. They started gigging in Ohio and Pa and had been rediscovered in Harrisburg, PA, with a club-owner who also going Soulsville Productions. Soulsville leased a surface finish one to Law-Ton Information in NY, but “EASILY COULD POSSIBLY BE Like Columbus” b/w “Don’t Ever Harm Me” in 1971 didn’t split an egg. Nothing at all else surfaced for the group led by Sonny Thompson, who also highlighted Bobby Superstar (who led “Don’t Ever Harm Me”); the various other members are unidentified. It is possible that they cut various other singles, two on Frantic Information are often related to them, but no one seems to understand for sure. Manufacturer/songwriter Manny Campbell described the teenagers as “voracious party pets who may possibly not be still around ‘trigger they lived lifestyle so difficult.”
