The Rockfords

The four produced the senior high school music group Warrior in 1978, after that added lead vocalist Rob Webber in 1982 and became Darkness, which lasted until 1988, after that split up. McCready produced Pearl Jam in 1990 and continued to rock and roll stardom; Newcomb as well as the Friel brothers continuing playing in regional Seattle rings. In 1994, Newcomb and Chris Friel produced Goodness, including lead vocalist Carrie Akre, launching a self-titled record in 1995 along with a follow-up, Anthem, in 1998. In 1999, McCready, still an associate of Pearl Jam, rejoined Newcomb, the Friel brothers and Akre in developing the Rockfords, who have been agreed upon to Epic and released their self-titled debut record in Feb 2000. Their association with Epic just lasted for just one album, however the Rockfords continuing and 3 years after their debut released Live Seattle, WA 12/13/03 within the self-employed Kufala label.
