The Ritchie Family

Named because of their producer, Ritchie Rome, the group was made by the past due Jacques Morali (passed away of Supports 1991), who also believed in the Community People. The initial trio was Cheryl Jacks, Cassandra Wooten, and Gwen Oliver. These were disco mavens, created to make dance flooring fodder and have scored a smash one with “THE VERY BEST Disco around,” a medley of disco strikes reworked with the girls. When disco passed away, so do the group.
