The Quails

Known to enjoy at rallies, squats, free galleries, and bookstores, San Francisco’s politically billed riot grrrl trio the Quails are drummer Julianna Shiny (ex-Electrolettes), guitarist Jen Smith (who come up with a journeying punk variety display), and bassist Seth Lorinczi (ex-Circus Lupus). Writing vocals and songwriting, the Quails shaped in 1999 and released their initial album, We Will be the Quails, on Inconvenient Information (operate by Erase Errata’s Sara Jaffe). Over time off because of accidents, the Quails released their second record, Atmosphere, in 2002. Pursuing separate travels with Sleater-Kinney as well as the Aislers Established, they released their third record, The Tune Is Appreciate, on Mr. Female.
