The Paper Blitz Tissue

The mysterious group the Paper Blitz Tissue released one good really difficult psychedelic pop single in December 1967, “Boy Fits Girl”/”Grey Guy,” on Uk RCA. The A-side was a near-gem of the psychedelic monitor with fluttering and squealing guitars, crunching Who-influenced percussion, a melody that was both ominous and tuneful, and a thunderous creation that produced the music group sound rather as though these were crashing around in a big cup tunnel. The B-side, while much less amazing, was a good psychedelic-speckled mod rocker with lyrics concurrently condemning and empathizing using the direct world represented with the “Gray Man” from the name. Just out of this one 45, it’s apparent which the Paper Blitz Tissues had considerable skill, and it’s as yet not known why they hardly ever managed to publish any more item. Perhaps some will exist, because they provided music for the Dec 1967 BBC tv program called Loss of life of an exclusive, composing the music with Television theme composer Ron Grainer (who also composed some music for the physician Who as well as the Prisoner series). The person in the Paper Blitz Tissues to help make the very best subsequent impact following the music group disbanded was drummer Dave DuFort, who was simply later on in East of Eden and used Kevin Ayers.
