Polo Hofer

Polo Hofer is a Swiss rock and roll singer whose recognition spanned several years, from the 1970s and carrying on good into the following century. Created on March 16, 1945, in Interlaken, Bern, Switzerland, he started his recording profession in the Swiss rock-band Rumpelstilz. Founded in 1971 and made up of Hanery Amman (key pad), Jürg Werren (acoustic guitar), Sämi Jungen (bass), and Hans Jungen (drums), furthermore to Hofer (vocals), Rumpelstilz produced their full-length debut in 1975 with Vogelfueter, accompanied by the albums Füüf Narre im Charre (1976), La Dolce Vita (1977), and Fätze u Bitze vo Geschter u Jitze (1978). The music group scored several Top Ten strikes with “Teddybär” (1976), “Kiosk” (1976), and “Nadisna” (1977). In 1978, Hofer divide from Rumpelstilz and founded the music group Polos SchmetterDing. They produced their eponymous full-length debut that same calendar year, accompanied by the albums Tip-Topi-Type (1979), Enorm in Type (1981), and Papper-la-Papp (1982). The music group scored lots three smash strike in 1980 with “Radio 24.” Hofer following embarked on the solo career, producing his full-length record debut in 1984 with Polovinyl. His second record, Giggerig (1985), was a significant success, reaching number 2 over the Swiss graphs, and even though his third record, Im Wilde Weste (1986), was a little less effective, peaking at amount ten, Hofer topped the albums graph for the to begin many times to include his fourth record, Rütmus, Bluus + Schnälli Schue!
