The Niceguys

Upon their formation in the University of Houston in 2006, The Nice Guys stuck out using their contemporaries in the Houston rap scene with hip fashion sense and broad music tastes. Circumventing the syrup-fueled southern audio of Paul Wall structure and Chamillionaire, the group discovered inspiration in substitute rap works De La Spirit and The Root base, and produced a conscious work to press hip-hop limitations with a distinctive, innovative design of their very own. After leaking many mix-tapes and self-releasing The Green Area EP in ’09 2009, the four piece (made up of MC Yves Saint, DJ Candlestick, and manufacturers Free of charge and Christolph) began building hype because of their debut full duration. 2010’s The Present was preceded by some pants and a video for the rock-infused one, “Mr. Ideal.”
