The Memories

Indie rock-band the Recollections were shaped in Portland, Oregon this year 2010 by years as a child close friends Rikky Gage and Kyle Handley, both of the punk-thrash group White colored Fang. Their ramshackle, lo-fi spontaneity and basic stoner pop melodies had been captured on the self-titled debut recording released on cassette by their very own label, Gnar Information, in early 2011. They quickly attracted the eye of garage area/punk/psych label Burger Information, which reissued their debut and would continue to champ the group, liberating several even more cassettes and an LP on the next couple of years. Even while, the Recollections continued releasing a reliable blast of home-recorded tapes on Gnar and different additional indies like Randy Information and OSR Tapes. In 2014, the prolific youthful music group released its third LP, Handled by an Angel, on Lollipop Information in L.A., where in fact the band was right now living. Later on that yr, Burger released the Recollections’ fourth recording, Hot Afternoon, made by Sonny Smith of Sonny & the Sunsets.
