The Leslies

A Swedish music group that sounds rather like their compatriots Eggstone as well as the Cardigans, the Leslies released two good albums in the middle-’90s that needs to be appealing to any fans from the Swedish indie picture. Created in the southern Swedish city of Kristianstad in 1993, vocalist Martin Berndtsson, guitarist Martin Engvall, keyboardist Jens Faltman, bassist Jonas Johansson, and drummer Tony Ivarsson produced a home-recorded demonstration in 1994 that they delivered to Tambourine Studios owner Tore Johansson, an integral physique in the Swedish pop picture. A Johansson-produced Tambourine demonstration resulted in a cope with the brand new label Harry Lime Information.
