The Laurels

Meshing muscular guitars and airy, hypnotic melodies, Sydney, Australia’s the Laurels created in 2006. Affected by ’80s shoegaze and ’90s stoner rock and roll, guitarists Piers Cornelius and Luke O’Farrell created the band, picking right up bassist Conor Hanan and drummer Kate Wilson. In 2007, they came into and received the Sydney University or college Music group Competition. The conclusion of their debut EP was postponed by day time careers and touring, however the users worked steadily, ultimately liberating Mesozoic in the summertime of 2011.
