The Dove & the Wolf

The Dove & the Wolf are led by Paloma Gil and Louise Hayat-Camard, who craft reflective indie rock that appears to fall in the unlikely territory between dream pop and ’70s soft rock. The French songwriting group have been playing music jointly for quite some time as teenagers and adults in Paris before developing the Dove & the Wolf in early 2012. They released a four-track self-titled EP that Sept. By 2014, the ladies had been touring with works including Rachael Yamagata and Butch Walker, plus they started focusing on their initial album within the U.S. The duo came back to Paris when their one-year visas expired in middle-2015, planning on the renewals to consider just a couple weeks. They finished up taking a couple of months, during which period the November 2015 Paris terrorism episodes occurred. The tragedy factored seriously into the ensuing five-track EP, I HAVE NO IDEA What to Experience, which highlighted two additions towards the lineup in bass participant Andy Dark and drummer Craig Hendrix. Documented and produced back Gil and Hayat-Camard’s followed bottom of Philadelphia by Dave Hartley (the Battle on Medications, Nightlands) and Nick Krill (the Spinto Music group, Teen Males), the EP was self-released in June 2016. Excess fat Possum took see and authorized the music group. An extended seven-track, I HAVE NO IDEA What to Experience, adopted in March 2017, marking the Dove & the Wolf’s label debut.
