The Checks

Shaped in New Zealand in 2002, the Bank checks had been a blues-based hard rock and roll act that could continue to tour and carry out with such rings as Muse, Oasis, R.E.M., the Hives, and Aircraft. The band performed their first display, a party, in 2003, and by 2004 got gained national interest, winning probably the most Promising Band in the 2004 Bnet Radio Network Honours. They would ultimately continue to sign an archive offer, and in 2006 the music group relocated to Britain to record their debut recording. That album, made by Ian Broudie and entitled Hunting Whales, premiered on Oct 1, 2007.
