Mansfield, TX, emo rockers Terminal had been known as Notice 12 before they signed with Seattle’s Teeth & Toenail in 2004. However the name modify didn’t dilute the quintet’s earnest mixture of emo-inflected, triumphant contemporary rock and roll, a sound that also got a Christian impact. Terminal’s lineup included vocalist Travis Bryant, guitarists Wayne Erwin and Matt Lucas, drummer Ryan Conley, and bassist Lucas Starr. They produced their Teeth & Toenail debut with The way the Lonely Retain in June 2005, and embarked on a thorough tour with fellow T&N work Anberlin.
