Swamptrash

Fondly remembered simply by those that were fortunate to witness the band completely flow about stage, this Scottish psychobilly band was just active for a couple years by the end from the 80s. Created in 1987 by dynamic frontman Harry Equine (b. Richard Horne, 9 Might 1960, Coventry, Britain, d. 10 January 2007, Burra, Shetland Isles, Scotland; banjo), the line-up also included Garry Finlayson (b. 24 Sept 1952, Kirkwall, Scotland; banjo), Angus R. Give (b. 14 Feb 1967, Fort William, Scotland; fiddle), Malcolm Crosbie (b. 25 Might 1960, Edinburgh, Scotland; electric guitar), Conrad Ivitsky (b. Conrad Molleson, 28 Oct 1968, Edinburgh, Scotland; bass), and Adam Mackintosh (b. 11 August 1966, Fort William, Scotland; drums). Although their frantic combination of rockabilly and punk was greatest experienced live, Swamptrash do stay together longer enough release a IT CREATES No Never Brain. Swamptrash disbanded in 1990, with Horne heading on to type Hexology before building a career being a politics cartoonist, as the staying members continued working together within the Celtic fusion music group Shooglenifty.
