Superchick 1st appeared in 2001 with Karaoke Superstars (Inpop), a peppy mixture of popternative grooves and CCM positivity. Led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Maximum Hsu (ex-Church of Tempo), the music group also included vocalist Tricia Brock, her guitarist/vocalist sister Melissa Brock, fellow guitarist Justin Sharboro, drummer Brian, and bassist Matt Dally. Considerable touring adopted the band’s debut on polish, and high-profile track placements (in Legally Blonde, for instance) upped their profile while advertising their message of empowerment via Christianity. Superchick came back in Oct 2002 with Last One Picked, a assortment of crunchy pop-punk figures. The remix recording Regeneration adopted a year later on.
