Stuart Hamblen

The name alone evokes a huge, beefy hard-livin’ type and that is just what Stuart Hamblen was. Popular for performing strikes like “My Mary” and “Tx Plains” through the ’40s, Hamblen was also ensemble because the ranch “hard” in lots of cowboy flicks from the period, as his popularity using the container offered him well for the function. Hamblen, however, ultimately discovered God and still left country music entirely, opting to web host an L.A.-structured radio show, called with Hamblen’s trademark flare, The Cowboy Church from the Air.
