Steve Hufstetter

b. 7 Feb 1936, Monroe, Michigan, USA. Hufstetter started his musical profession as an adolescent, playing trumpet in Phoenix, Az, where he grew up. In 1959, he relocated to LA, California, where he became a member of Stan Kenton’s orchestra. He continued to be with Kenton for the year, after that in the first 60s performed in rings led by Si Zentner, Les Dark brown yet others. In the middle-60s he caused the music group led by Louie Bellson to accompany Pearl Bailey and was also briefly with Ray Charles. Then performed in the music group led by Preston Appreciate for Motown displays. Through the entire 80s Hufstetter caused Florence, Gordon Brisker, Bellson, Dave Pell, Costs Berry and Poncho Sanchez, even while getting much popular for studio function.
