Taufik Batisah

The first-ever Singapore Idol, Taufik Batisah transitioned quickly from television stardom to recording success, becoming among Singapore’s most popular homegrown artists along the way. Born Dec 10, 1981, he originally thought we would compete within the first time of year of Singapore Idol to be able to promote his group Bonafide. He finished up winning your competition and was crowned the first-ever Singapore Idol in Dec 2004. A documenting agreement with Sony BMG resulted, resulting in his full-length recording debut, Blessings (2005), made up of English-language materials. His second recording, All Due to You (2006), spawned two Malay-language smash strikes, “Usah Lepaskan” and “Sesuatu Janji.” In the wake of the chart-topping strikes, he released the Malay-language recording Teman Istimewa (2007).
