Delivering versatile and visionary noises based upon basic combinations of alternative pop/rock and roll design with sharp-edged lyrics, Position in sunlight combines the stormy custom of rock and roll culture with modern experimentation. Produced in California in 1996 using a three-piece lineup offering Rex Perry, Ric Alien, and Les Moore, Sunlight were able to quickly gain the eye of both industry and the general public. After years where the band performed numerous shows all around the U.S., they finally resolved on getting into the studio room to record their debut record. Standing in sunlight, their self-titled full-length, strike the record shops in 1999, getting exciting testimonials and solidifying the band’s currently major following.
