Drawing inspiration from your aggressive, vehement seems of black steel as well as the classic melodies of force steel, the Philly-based quartet Sole Bullet Theory created in 2000 from your ashes of Pissing Razor blades, Seven Witches, and Shadowdance. Matt Difabio (vocals, acoustic guitar), Billy Mez (bass), Carlos Alvarez (acoustic guitar), and Jay Horvath (drums) shown a solid D.I.Con. ethic right away, issuing a self-released EP in 2000 and funding the producing tour themselves. After putting your signature on using the Phoenix-based Crash Music in January 2003, Solitary Bullet Theory joined the studio room to record their debut Compact disc, Path 66. The recording premiered in Apr and received warm evaluations from the metallic community, using the music video for “Murder Devices” taking pleasure in airtime on Headbanger’s Ball and Fuse’s Uranium. Behind Eye of Hatred adopted in early 2004; documented by Wayne Murphy (Testament, Loss of life, Obituary) on the mobile pc, the album was made minus the traditional period constraints of the studio. Solitary Bullet Theory toured alongside Amorphis in 2005 before splitting from Crash Music and going for a year-long hiatus, but 2007 noticed them rejoining the Crash roster and issuing a fresh recording, On Broken Wings.
