Shaka Ponk

Conceived a year before Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz burst onto the scene, but agreed upon only four years after, Shaka Ponk will be the People from france electro-punk collective best-known because of their digitally cartoon monkey figure, Goz. Shaped by website design company Frah and guitarist CC in 2000, the set experimented with different visual methods before recruiting bassist Thias and drummer Bobe-OD to full their lineup. The music group quickly gained a reputation being a must-see live clothing because of their multi-lingual fusion of rock and roll, funk, hip-hop, and punk with inventive imagery, that they perfected independently online route, Monkey Television. In 2005, they agreed upon a cope with Edel Music, and a season afterwards, released their debut record, Loco con da Frenchy Talkin, that was accompanied by 2009’s Poor Porn Film Trax, and 2011’s The Geeks & the Jerkin’ Socks, the last mentioned of which highlighted brand-new recruit, Samaha Sam on business lead vocals.
