Sephardic Tinge

Based away from NY, the jazz trio Sephardic Tinge includes downtown pianist Anthony Coleman, bassist Ben Street, and drummer Michael Sarin. Presumably a continuation of Coleman’s task documented within the 1995 record with Greg Cohen and Joey Baron entitled Sephardic Tinge, this piano trio attracts equally in the jazz custom as well as the Sephardic custom — the Jewish musical custom that originated throughout the Mediterranean basin, where Jews expelled from DARK AGES Spain settled. There is a small Latin rhythm tossed in Sephardic Tinge’s music aswell.
