Self-Made Men

The Self-Made Males certainly are a studio and live group assembled by singer and songwriter Delbert McClinton for his 19th album, 2017’s Prick from the Litter. The vocalist assembled them for the intended purpose of taking a softer, jazzier part of his sound, influenced by the music and music of Johnny Mercer and Nat Ruler Cole. The primary band is made up of seasoned studio room and street veterans. The primary of the group contains guitarist Bob Britt, keyboardist Kevin McKendree, bassist Mike Joyce, drummer Jack port Bruno, and trumpeter Quentin Ware.
