Satin Peaches

Regularly earning comparisons towards the Kinks and Elliott Smith, Michigan rock-band the Satin Peaches recorded a demo EP just before starting up with Oasis manager Marcus Russell and signing in with major label Island. Simply getting away from their teenager years, the bandmembers lowered out of university, continued tour, and started prepping a full-length. Pursuing some member adjustments, the lineup by 2007 was George Morris (electric guitar, vocals, piano), Aaron Nelson (bass, vocals, piano), Ryan Wiese (electric guitar, vocals, key pad), and Jeremy Smith (drums). In summertime 2007 the Silk Peaches were contained in the lineup from the huge Chicago music celebration Lollapalooza.
