Austin, TX’s CCM/Latin cross types Salvador originally featured vocalists Nic, Artwork, and Josh Gonzales, keyboardist Adrian Lopez, and percussionist Eliot Torres. The group performed at Find the Fireplace youth meetings and on the Spirit 2 Spirit tour before launching its self-titled debut record in middle-2000. The band’s lineup in addition has included keyboardist/vocalist Chris Bevins, trumpeter/flügelhornist Edwin Santiago, trombonist/saxophonist Jared Solis, drummer Robert Acuña, and percussionist Alejandro Santoyo. Albums released by Salvador following group’s eponymous debut possess included Into Movement (2002), Con Poder and Worship Live (both 2003), Therefore Organic (2004), and Dismiss the Secret (2006). Frontman Nic Gonzales and Christian pop superstar Jaci Velasquez had been wedded on January 13, 2007. Salvador’s Aware record was released in Apr of the next year.
