Fronted by ex-MTV presenter Marijne van der Vlugt, UK indie strap Salad first required form when she began composing songs with guitarist Paul Kennedy while operating like a photographic style model. Authorized to Island Information’ indie offshoot label Crimson, Salad provide a sparse audio that contrasts using the thick narratives of their lyrics.
