Rockhouse Ramblers certainly are a St. Louis alt-country music group that performs a variety of classic nation, hillbilly boogie, and rockabilly. The group, which started largely being a cover music group, is kind of an all-star clothing comprising present and previous members of a few of St. Louis’ greatest root base works. It features Dade Farrar (previously of 1 Fell Swoop and sibling of alt-country patriarch Jay Farrar), Kip Loui (from the root base pop music group Belle Starr), John Horton (guitarist for Mike Ireland & Holler), Gary Hunt (root base music veteran and person in the bluegrass music group the Hayshakers), and Danny Kathriner (drummer and lead vocalist/songwriter for the music group Wagon). Their Hayden’s Ferry discharge Bar Time strike the cabinets in 2000.
