Honky tonk country-rockers River State began in the group’s hometown of Whiteland, IN, at a high-school skill present. Derek Wylie (business lead vocalist), Chris Presley (business lead and rhythm acoustic guitar/history vocals), and Jake Hehman (keyboards) received that talent display, and River Region have already been at it since, playing graduation celebrations, talent displays, and hog roasts before upgrading to clubs, region fairs, and starting slots with nationwide functions touring through the condition. On the way, River Region created a high-energy rock and roll and country audio that was equivalent parts Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rascal Flatts, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, with some Tony Joe White colored thrown set for great measure. The group documented its debut recording, Rockin’ the united states, in Nashville with maker Terry Wendt and released it in 2008.
