Richard Tognetti

Richard Tognetti can be an Australian violinist, conductor, and composer. He was created in Canberra and was raised in Wollongong, where he became students of William Primrose. He went to the Conservatorium SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Sydney, where he examined violin with Alice Waten. He gained the National Youngsters Concerto Competition in 1980, and continued to review with Igor Ozim on the Bern Conservatory. In 1989, he was honored the Tschumi Award, and he was appointed creative director and head from the Australian Chamber Orchestra. Tognetti provides performed as soloist with performers in various styles, and he has Baroque, contemporary, and electrical violins. He in addition has transcribed classics by Beethoven, Paganini, Satie, Janacek, Szymanowski, and Ravel for chamber orchestra. Tognetti provides appeared using the Handel & Haydn Culture of Boston, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the Nordic Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, among numerous others.
