Red Box

This UK band was formed in 1982 using a line-up comprising Simon Toulson-Clark (vocals/guitar), Julian Close (saxophone), Martin Nickson (drums), Rob Legge (bass), Paddy Talbot (keyboards). The group appreciated minor success using the separately released ‘Chenko’ and eventually agreed upon to WEA Information. This coincided with a decrease in the line-up, that Clark and Close surfaced being a duo. In the summertime of 1985, they appreciated a UK Best 3 hit using the catchy ‘Trim On Me (Ah-Li-Ayo)’. Its Top 10 achievement was repeated the next calendar year with ‘For America’. Their initial album The Group AS WELL AS THE Square reached amount 73, but an extended gap in documenting saw Red Container lose surface. Four years transferred prior to the follow-up Purpose, was released and non-e of its attendant singles reached, the graphs.
