RAYE

Croyden, South London-based R&B singer Rachel Eager (aka RAYE) started her profession at age ten, guided simply by her dad and her electric guitar teacher. Her curiosity about music quickly resulted in little charity gigs and rounds of performing at her regional cathedral. By 2012, RAYE acquired signed up for the esteemed BRIT college for music and performing, spending 2 yrs perfecting her build, but she still left in 2014 because of the restrictions she had been taught as well as the wish to create her very own rules. The next season, RAYE released her debut EP, Welcome to the wintertime. The lead one, “Hotbox,” was observed by Olly Alexander (Years & Years) on Buzz Machine; he got touching RAYE to go over music, and organized a meeting using the A&R section at Polydor. With major-label support, RAYE kept active in 2016, including co-writing her one “I, U, US” alongside Charli XCX, showing up as a visitor vocalist on Jonas Blue’s one “WITH YOU,” and launching the EP SECOND.
