Ragheb Alama

Along with his sensuous vocals, Ragheb Alama (created: Ragheb Subhi Alama) has increased to the top echelon of Middle Eastern pop music. The receiver of an Arabian Globe Platinum Lion award as Greatest Arabic Vocalist of 1998, Alama is constantly on the bring today’s sensibility to the original music of his homeland. Alama’s skills as a vocalist were obvious from an early on age. His dad was therefore impressed along with his performing that he organized for him to become interviewed on Lebanese radio before his tenth birthday. Enrolling in the Beirut Conservatory of Music, at age 15, Alama spent many years learning the lute. His skill at performing traditional folk tunes led to his finding a platinum medal. Starting his professional profession in 1982, Alama has turned into a regular performer at music celebrations in Lebanon and Egypt. He received a platinum disk for his recording, Albi A’she’aha, and an Egyptian Oscar for his online video, “Alamtini.”
