He’s the kid of Kool & the Gang’s Ronald Bell, but Rachid is a self-styled R&B punk-poet inspired with a ensemble of statistics including Björk, Bauhaus and Marcel Proust. Certainly, his debut record Prototype included nods to trip-hop, commercial music and drum’n’bass, aswell as folk and spirit music.
