Lualta

Delio Bacalski (electric guitar), Gabriel Gamboa (drums), Quinn Leeper (bass), Michael Hernandez (vocals), Mike Ortiz (electric guitar), and William Canedo (keyboards) was raised in the NORTH PARK suburbs, honing their own spiky punk audio in the later ’90s. They had taken their name, Lualta, from a close by city road. In summer months 2002, the cynical sextet released the Catapult EP. In addition they gained praise within their indigenous Californian town using a Greatest New Musician nomination on the NORTH PARK Music Honours. Lualta toured the U.K. with Stereophonics the next year.
