Baltimore punk-pop trio the Put-Outs was formed in early 1996 by singer/guitarist John Shafer, bassist Tim Conder and drummer Sam “The Beast” Holden. Debuting later on that year using the solitary “The Sky Is definitely Falling,” the group also added to some compilations in the weeks to follow, on the way changing Holden with drummer Rodney Money. The Put-Outs’ full-length debut Sing the Strikes adopted in 1999.
