Ex-Concrete Blonde vocalist and bassist Johnette Napolitano waited 2 yrs after her previous band split up to form Very & Twisted with guitarist Marc Moreland and drummer Danny Montgomery. Much less aggressive than Cement Blonde but nonetheless rooted within the same custom, the band’s self-titled debut premiered in 1995 on Warner Bros.
