Point of Ares

Hailing from the higher Boston, MA area, Stage of Ares present a unique mixture of hard rock and roll, prog, and punkish seems all utilizing literary types of terms as their lyrical basis. Based on the music group their name “represents their eyesight from the sweeping majesty and power from the rock and roll genre.” Ares, as found in the name, may be the Greek god of battle. The music group may be the brainchild of vocalist/bassist Karen Michalson. Michalson got the impetus to place materials from her dream books to music therefore she used bass playing and performing and required the actions of beginning the music group. She even produced her record label, Arula Information. Michalson recruited her spouse Expenses, a guitarist and engineer. Drummer Ryan DesRoches was put into complete the group. They released their 1st CD, Foe Glory Darkly Blessed on Oct 31, 1996. The documenting, with lyrical framework predicated on Michalson’s dream group of the same name, started to garner the group interest. On the 1st day time of 1999, they released their second disk, The Sorrows of Daring Apollo, and their limelight grew.
