Based away of Whittier, California, a suburb of LA, Plague Vendor certainly are a punk group who funnel their nervy, nocturnal energy to their generating sound. Composed of vocalist Brandon Blaine, guitarist Jay Rogers, bassist Michael Perez, and drummer Luke Perine, the band’s audio mixes the urgency of early post-punk using the reckless attitude of hardcore, creating a method that squirms with anxious energy although it refuses to sit down still. In 2014, the music group signed on using the renowned punk label Epitaph, where they released their concise debut, Absolve to Eat, in the springtime of that season. Recorded during the period of fourteen days with maker and engineer Stuart Sikes (the Walkmen, Kitty Power, Modest Mouse), the music group released their propulsive sophomore outing, Bloodsweat, in early 2016.
