Pee Wee Erwin

A fantastic trumpeter who spent the majority of his profession over the fringe of popularity, Pee Wee Erwin produced many fine information during his profession. He started playing trumpet when he was four. Stints with place bands were accompanied by gigs with Joe Haymes (1931-1933) and Isham Jones (1933-1934). Erwin after that moved to NY and became a active studio musician, functioning frequently on radio, including with Benny Goodman during 1934-1935. After using Ray Noble in 1935, he been successful Bunny Berigan in both Benny Goodman (1936) and Tommy Dorsey (1937-1939) orchestras.
