Pechuga Band

Spanish hip-hop act Pechuga Music group was shaped in July of 1998 by MC Carlos Medina (Señor Punto) and ex-DQ3 MC Ayose Curbelo (aka Curbino), who had been soon joined up with by drummer Caboso Fondo, bassist Chico Sardina, and guitarist Niño Steel. They debuted live at Lanzarote’s Festibar in 1999 and, that same season, recorded a demonstration offering “Fo Que Peste” and “Estado de Derecho.” Drummer Elio Pérez (Un Chino) got Caboso Fondo’s place immediately after, and guitarist Manuel (aka Trufino Almendrado) became a member of in 2000. Neftali Acosta (Natilla) got charge of Pechuga Band’s turntables, Jorge (aka Jorgito Pito) became their second guitarist, and bass participant Juan Ramon Pinto became a member of in 2001.
