Although not really a main soloist himself, Paul Howard includes a specific amount of popularity among vintage jazz enthusiasts because his Quality Serenaders was a thrilling band in the past due 1920s; among his sidemen had been Lionel Hampton (on drums) and trombonist Lawrence Dark brown. Howard, who originated from a musical family members, began on cornet, turned to alto, and in addition had schooling on clarinet, oboe, bassoon, flute and piano just before buying tenor. He transferred to LA in 1911 and began working skillfully in 1916 with Hardwood Wilson’s Syncopators and Satchel McVea’s Howdy music group.
