Pat Longo

b. 11 Sept 1929, Passaic, NJ, USA. Adept on many reed tools, Longo focused on alto saxophone and clarinet. During armed service service he performed in the music group of the next Sea Airwing and pursuing his discharge analyzed music full-time. Although intention on a profession in music, through the entire 60s and in to the early 70s Longo discovered it essential to support himself by employed in a standard bank. Nevertheless, in 1974 and citizen in LA, he decided enough time was to give up bank and play music. He became a member of the Harry Wayne music group but experienced ambitions to lead his personal big music group. In 1979, he accomplished his objective and formed a large music group which quickly obtained regular bookings around LA. In the past due 70s and early 80s Longo’s Super Big Music group successfully blended the greater traditional areas of big music group music with presently popular jazz rock and roll funkiness. His line-ups generally featured lots of the greatest west coast program men and a good couple of talented jazzmen, including Gordon Brisker, Lanny Morgan, Bob Efford, Friend Childers, Frank J. Szabo and Nick Ceroli. Intention on developing the areas of publicity for the music group, Longo also became involved with a tv series.
