Nashville indie rock and roll outfit Paper Competitor shaped in 2005 beneath the moniker Keating and released the Thieves EP therefore that same calendar year (later on re-released beneath the Paper Competitor name in nov 2007). Running a collective like of performers like Bob Dylan, Damaged Social Scene, Natural Milk Resort, and Bruce Cockburn, the music group — bassist Cody McCall, guitarist Brent Coleman, guitarist Patrick Damphier, and vocalist Jacob Rolleston — was contacted to be among the first groupings to join reservation agent Matt Galle’s brand-new record label, Image Finish Information (asked prior to the label also really existed, believe it or not).
